Slater’s 50/50 Las Vegas isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a passion project brought to life by husband-and-wife duo Andy Kao and Cindy Sun. Their journey with Slater’s 50/50 began in 2014 on Andy’s birthday when they first experienced the brand in Pasadena, CA. What started as a memorable meal quickly turned into something much more. Over the years, Slater’s 50/50 became a constant in their lives—a place of lively conversations, bold flavors, and unforgettable moments.
In 2018, Andy and Cindy made that vision a reality, opening the first Slater’s 50/50 in Las Vegas on Silverado Ranch Blvd. The overwhelming love from the community led to the launch of their second location on Lake Mead Blvd in 2022. As the exclusive license holders for the Slater’s 50/50 brand in Nevada, they have full creative control over the menu and guest experience, ensuring each visit is as indulgent as the last.
Slater’s 50/50 Las Vegas is famous for its gourmet burgers, craft beers, and over-the-top shakes, but it’s the secret menu “Whale Burger” that truly put it on the map. Featuring a one-pound Australian Wagyu beef patty, tempura-fried lobster tail, Italian truffle cheese, and a dusting of gold, this jaw-dropping creation was the winner in the Netflix’s original "Fresh, Fried, and Crispy."
The restaurant has also earned multiple Best of Las Vegas GOLD awards, including Best Burger, Best Family-Friendly Restaurant, and Best Sports Bar.
